This seems like a good time to introduce our British Over Lords. I say British because I learned working with these guys that a Brit is not necessarily
an Englishman. I always thought they were one and the same. But a citizen of the UK could be a Welshman, and Englishman, a Scotsman or a Northern Irishman.
And the accents!!! Whew... I never knew the English language could be slaughtered so.
Anyway here are the people Cleveland Bridge brought over from that little island next to Europe.
- Roy Wilson - the Boss's, Boss's Boss. One hell of a nice guy.
- Mark Allison - Mark and Roy seem to share the leadership of the job - a bit distant, but still a good guy
- Mark Rumbles is next in line (I think). Mark was my direct supervisor during the spinning. Mark gave me a great compliment
a while back after one of my witty retorts. He said "Sarcasim is the lowest form of wit." I resemble that remark!
- Dai Griffiths - One of two Welshmen here. Just a misunderstood fellow
- Nigal Day - a witty fellow (and so dashing with that mustache)
- Griff Roberts - what can you say about Griff?? - a crusty, hard drinking, hard smoking old Bridgeman!! And full of great stories (once
you get to where you can understand the gritty Welsh accent).
- Colin Moore - The youngest of the group and has the best sense of humor of any of them.
- Dave Gill - Dave comes from Dorman/Long Hordiland. A good guy when you get to know him
- Bruce Hamilton - Bruce is an Austrailan and one hell of good guy. Bruce says it and it happens.
- The Engineers
- Alan Amis - One of the quietest, nicest guys around
- Darren Dobson - He'll be just fine when he grows up.
- Bart Potney - Going somewhere in this company.
